Suzanne Umland, EA
Suzanne has been practicing tax accounting since 2005, working with individuals and businesses at several tax practices. She joined The Swanson Group in 2017 as a year round tax accounting professional. She also has spent 27 years as a commercial lender and underwriter for several Maine banks. Suzanne has worked with Maine small business owners throughout her accounting and banking careers, and continues to enjoy those relationships.
Suzanne achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Molloy College, NY, and an MBA from Plymouth State College, NH. In 2012, she achieved Enrolled Agent privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
Suzanne is a member of the Maine Association of Professional Accountants, and she serves on the Board of Regional Transportation Program. Beyond work, Suzanne enjoys time and activities with family and friends.
